 Verified Comfortable Place to Stay in Windermere We stayed at Kotel Windermere last July. The room was clean and conducive to rest and relax after a day of visiting the nearby areas. The small kitchen has all the things needed for light breakfast or meal. The beds are comfortable to sleep. The toilet and shower was spacious. From the moment I arrived, the team made us feel so welcome – genuinely warm and always ready with great local tips. The rooms were cosy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable Lake District getaway. But the real game-changer? The parking. If you know the Lakes, you know how stressful finding a spot can be – but Kotel's private car park was spacious, secure, and an absolute lifesaver. It gave me total peace of mind and made exploring the area so much easier. Convenient location, thoughtful amenities, and service that goes the extra mile.  Verified Perfect in every way Fabulous location, close to village but walking distance of busier Bowness area. Apartment was perfect, very high standard, Clean, comfortable and a beautiful garden area with direct access from the bedroom. Really quiet too. It was perfect and can’t wait to go back

 Verified Fabulous stay Perfect location,5 minutes walk to the village with shops and restaurants and about 20 minutes to the lake. Bus stop nearby. The building is very nice with the added bonus of a beautiful garden. The room was spacious, modern, very clean with a comfortable bed. The kitchenette was very well equipped. They really paid attention to details. The staff was very helpful and even helped us with the check in. Plenty of parking outside The only thing that it could be helpful to have is a pan and brush. Cleaning is every 3 days, which is fine, but it would be good to have pan and brush in the room.

 Verified Excellent and dog friendly in certain rooms. A really nice place to stay, plenty of parking, in between Windermere and Bowness. We booked five rooms, all on the ground floor: one apartment and four studio rooms. Every room was amazing, clean, comfortable, and equipped with a small kitchen. The apartment was especially perfect for our family dinners late at night. It had everything we needed for cooking, as well as a dishwasher, so no one had to argue about who was going to wash the dishes during the family vacation 😅 The location is also excellent. It is only about a six-minute walk from Windermere town centre, where you can find lovely restaurants, coffee shops, and souvenir shops, and around a 15-minute walk to the lake. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the backyard is amazing and very well maintained. You can tell that someone takes great pride and joy in looking after it. We truly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful family vacation. Thank you to all the staff and management for your hospitality. Until next time!

The only downside is smaller size of the rooms especially if you are travelling with a toddler. Perfect for a couple otherwise.
